What is a Day in the Life Family Session?

Every time there’s a shoot, there’s a story. And while these photos aim to tell those stories, sometimes there’s a little more I can’t help but share with you guys in more detail.

These were from a few Day-in-the-Life shoots I did a while back. It’s a different approach to family portrait shoots and they’re one of my favorites to do. Typically, I spend most of the day with your family, documenting those little details that we all hope to remember forever.

There’s nothing quite like capturing your family in their element. Letting your kids be goofy, capturing the hugs and the laughs. As a mother, these are always the moments I wish to get on camera for my own family.

I get a lot of questions about these shoots, mainly because they are so different from a standard family portrait shoot. My favorite thing about these is that they’re tailored to your family. Whatever works best for you guys is what we’ll shoot. A day at the park? Staying home and baking? It all works for me, so long as it captures your family.
