Mamas and kiddos!

It haven’t always loved summer. Fussing with sunscreen and bugs has always felt annoying to me. And oppressive heat is definitely not my favorite. HOWEVER, lately…it’s all felt worth it. Don’t get me wrong, I still skip those HOT afternoon hours outside, but give me a warm summer evening or a trip to the pool with my kids and I’m in heaven!

Not to mention, the summertime light is perfection for evening sessions. My Motherhood Mini Sessions at Mount Sequoyah in Fayetteville, Arkansas were amazing this year. So many beautiful mamas and kiddos - I really love these sessions every year! (While Mother’s Day is really in spring, rainy days and bad weather pushed most of them out into the summer, so we got the best of both worlds - sweet mama and kiddo connection and beautiful summer evenings!)
